is steve. >>> thank you very much. our system is moving on shore as advertised. the rain is picking up especially towards the north bay and we have wind and rain picking up and most of the heavy rain is still on and off shore right now. things are picking up in the north bay and it looks like it is about over for them and it is beginning to really start to intensify and our front still has a ways to go but it is a fast moving system which is not going to stall out. up towards clover dale and lake county, things are beginning to light up and rushing river, not too bad. nothing too heavy, and in marin county, it is starting to move on shore so there is a little bit of an enhancement so out to the east bay this has been light. reports of rain are starting in capitoa but it is later than sooner when they will get the bulk of this but everybody is in on this. rain is picking up at half-moon bay airport and by 11:00 and noon this system is gone blasting through. by 8:00, and 9:00 it is moving out by noon. that is the good news and it will not be late until thursday and friday and that's th

parsons will answer that. how crazy are the prices that you are seeing? >> how about steve martin crazy. wild and crazy. here is the whole thing. we are going to see some super high airfares. much higher than thanksgiving for christmas. if you are going between now and there is a notice between the 18th of december and then around january 7 through the eighth, up until about march 16, that is when you will get crazy deals. dallas, fort worth, where i live to boston, philadelphia and new york city, nonstop, $139. that includes all taxes also. and we look at other cities like boston coast-to-coast or new york coast to coast, we are seeing those fares nonstop for $250 for the first of the year. you may need to be slightly flexible, but those are some of the best deals. even florida, i think, will be the gold mine. even for the los angeles area to four lauderdale are in the mid two hundreds. you are going coast to coast for sure. it is a nice place to be in the wintertime. orlando, tampa, fort lauderdale, those are the three that i would look at. after january 7, again. and then in europe.

at 280 in san jose, traffic is looking good in both directions, here is steve. >>> well, we have a little bit of a lull before the system comes in and if you leave now you might beat the bulk of it. everything is offshore poised to move in and today it is widespread, it will rain all the way from ukiah and santa cruz and it looks like a fast mover. we will focus our attention on the north bay and again the santa cruz mountains, saturday it takes more aim at that. it is possible we could see 10 to 8 more inches. cape mendocino north, there will still be a lot of systems and now it is becoming one and it will move on shore and as long as it keeps marching, it will take aim at the marin coast. also the rushing river area, things are beginning to start nothing too heavy but it will pick up around 7:00, 8:00 or 9:00. also in mendocino, and lake county and down to santa cruz and monterey it will be a rainy morning. it is not too heavy yet but it is on its way. when you see darker green rain begins to pick up and that will not come in for another couple of hours but it is a sign of things to c

fox coverage. david lee miller live inside southern israel but first to steve harrigan. he is live tonight in caro. what are the terms of the deal exactly? >> trace, three basic points coming out of this cease-fire agreement. first a cessation of hostilities on all sides. for israel that means they will no longer target members of hamas. for hamas it means they will no longer fire rockets into israel. second. a cooling off period of 24 hours. this will be a closely watch period to see whether this 8 days of violence has actually stopped. and finally the most controversial part, an easing of the restrictions on the borders with gaza. now, hamas officials have come out and said those borders will be open. if you look at the language of the agreement it's a lot less clear than that. it looks like more negotiation on these borders while they will be loosened, exactly how loose they will will get, not clear yet, trace? >> it appears from all sides, steve, that egypt was really the key player in these negotiations? >> certainly some big question marks about egypt's new president. mohamme

at northbound and southbound 280 that traffic is light. let's go to steve. >>> good morning, sal. thank you. well our system finally got here. it lost a little bit of punch as it came from northern california by that i mean eureka and crescent city. still gusts of 40 miles an hour. it's sliding by now. but there is definitely breaks to the north. the front is sliding by now. very slowly i might add. it's not moving very quick. there has been pretty good totals. there is breaks in the north bay. peninsula over to the east bay. there have been bursts of moderate rain. some areas is like a drizzle. keep that in mind. also toward the south bay and the peninsula you can see there is a little bit of a back edge here but still for another couple hours we dealing with this system. it's not moving very quick. 60-degrees in oakland. 60 san jose. it's mild. this is not a cold system by any stretch of the imagination. when things clear out of here which will be later today and tonight there will be big-time valley fog. today we'll have to deal with the morning rain and clouds. windy up in the hills. ve
